WHAT IMAGE DO YOU CARRY?
The kind of thoughts that come through your mind at times matter a lot. You must be careful of the kind of image your mind carries. You may not know the result of what you are taking in. I tell you; your mind is just like a camera. If you take a good picture in your mind, it will surely affect you positively, but the bad picture will affect you negatively.
A man who thinks that he is a failure as a result of a bad picture will never find a solution to his challenges. But a man who takes a good picture in his mind and at the same time sees himself as a successful person will eventually become one. Even when he fails, he never gives up, rather he finds a solution to his failure and uses that as stepping stones for his future success in life.
I tell you the pictures you snap every day in your mind matter a lot. The repercussions may not be known now but the problem that would come with it in the future would defy any solutions. By then it will be too late to figure out the real problem because it would be almost impossible to release those pictures from the mind.
“So, think well and painting a good picture of yourself always on the canvas of your mind, is what makes a successful person. You were not born to be a failure; you were born for a purpose. You were designed for greatness. Even your creator does not give room for failure but success because He has already made provision for you to be a better person in this world. But many people have not come to the knowledge of it. If only they realized it, they would change their world. With the role of authenticity in a world of social media and constant comparison, it’s tempting to project an image you think others will admire. But authenticity staying true to who you are resonates more deeply. People are down to genuine individuals, and projecting a false image can be exhausting and ultimately unfulfilling.
Ask yourself this reality checklist:
- Are your actions aligning with your values?
- Do you communicate honestly and transparently?
- Are you comfortable showing your vulnerability?
The image you carry is a powerful tool, influencing your interactions and opportunities; by aligning your self-perception with external actions and staying authentic you can shape an image that reflects your true self and inspires confidence in others, be mindful, be intentional, and carry an image that represents your values and aspiration.
